The black lipstick trend hit us last fall, and it doesn’t show any signs of stopping. It’s been incorporated into many different styles; Hipster, Boho, Grunge, you name it! Anyone who follows Kylie Jenner on Instagram knows that she rocks onyx-painted lips almost daily. She pulls it off well, but it is extreme and requires practice. Whether you’re jumping onto the black lipstick trend for the first time, or you’re trying to figure out how to keep wearing it now that it’s summer, this list will show you how.
First, kick it off casual! A lot of people assume that you have to match the lipstick to your clothes, so the darker, the better. On the contrary, you can certainly pair it with a light coral sundress, pull your hair back, and you’re all ready for a fun, summer date.
Another everyday look, white (or black) T-shirt and dark denim shorts! Super cute, SUPER easy, and no one will think you’re trying too hard.
This next one is along the same lines. Denim shorts and a denim top! Keeping it fun and comfortable, but the black lipstick definitely adds depth.
