The new iPhone is here … and no, it’s not the iPhone 7. Apple just announced the iPhone SE at its product conference, and it’s arriving sooner than you think. The phone will be available for order as of March 24th, 2016 and will be distributed by March 31st, 2016. This means that you’ll be able to get your hands on the newest iPhone by the end of next week. Selling a phone within a week of an announcement? Impressive Apple.
The iPhone SE will have all the same features as the iPhone 6S, and will also feature Apple Pay, a A9 chip, and a 12 mp camera on the back allowing for a 4K video.
The biggest shock? Apple is going back to a 4-inch screen aka the iPhone 5 style. The phone will be coming in gold, silver, black, and rose. For those who were not a big fan of the iPhone 6 screen, this is the best update news that you’ve been waiting for. Due to the smaller screen, it has also reduced the price of the phone starting at $399 for 16 GB.
Apple also announced its new products for the year – a new, sports Apple watch will cost $299, a smaller iPad Pro, and introduced a new robot whose job is to recycle old products. The biggest announcement in addition to the new iPhone is that Apple is releasing its newest iOs update , iOS 9.3 today. Lots of updates that will all be available almost immediately. Well played Apple, well played.
