It’s happened to us all. We get the girls together, microwave some popcorn, gather together in a living/dorm room and it happens. We can’t decide on a movie. There are so many great ones, how do you decide what to watch? It’s a dilemma that can usually be solved when someone brings up one of the following movies.
The Notebook
It’s a classic. Romantic, funny, sad and sweet. It’s perfect for a girls night because there will be no shame or judgement from your gal pals for crying because they’re crying just as much. So if you’re in a pinch about what movie to watch bring out The Notebook. There will be little to no disagreement.
Mean Girls
Another classic. It’s funny and light-hearted. And it’s a little nostalgic, taking you back to the first time you saw it or maybe even your own high school days. It’s the perfect movie to watch with your girlfriends because everyone is sure to enjoy it.
Sweet Home Alabama
A sweet Romantic Comedy with a touch of Southern charm, this movie is one for the books. It’s hard to resist the drama of a love triangle and some good-looking men. Whether you’re from the South or not, there is something for everyone.
The Lucky One
Nicholas Sparks is known for bringing us some great romantic movies-usually ones that make us cry. This one is an irresistible love story about fate and a picture that brings two people together. It’s a great movie to sit down and watch with a group of friends.
The Holiday
With a rockstar cast, this movie is sure to win over your group. With an interesting plot, great character dynamics, and plenty of laughs it’s a movie that never fails.
Valentine’s Day
It doesn’t necessarily have to be Valentine’s Day for your crew to enjoy this movie. It’s filled with love and laughs. There is no way this movie could let you down. It has light-hearted comedy and just enough drama to satisfy whatever you’re looking for.
The Parent Trap
Who doesn’t love this movie? It’s an interesting spin on a love story. Another classic movie with a great storyline and great characters. It’s definitely a crowd-pleaser. Just make sure you have plenty of snacks!
How to Lose a Guy In 10 Days
One of the most interesting, unique monies of all time. Another interesting spin on a love story. She’s trying to get him to break up with her and he’s trying to get her to fall in love with him. There’s so much humor and irony in this movie you’d be crazy not to put it on the list!
27 Dresses
“Always a bridesmaid, never a bride.” This movie perfectly illustrates that quote. A perfect ending and plenty of laughs. The steamy romance and sister-drama makes for an interesting and entertaining movie night.
He’s Just Not That Into You
A movie with a great cast and a story you won’t soon forget. Plenty of love stories to keep up with and plenty to let go of. Another great comedy with lots to enjoy. Can you keep up with who’s with who?
Legally Blonde
This is without a doubt the greatest chick flick of all time. Reese Witherspoon gave us all inspiration as she what most of us could only dream of doing. Elle Woods encouraged us all to follow our dreams and look good doing it. Legally Blonde definitely deserves a spot on the list.
