Traveling; it ignites your sense of happiness, it creates that fascial stretch from one cheek to another, and it ultimately provides you with a never-ending glow. The glow of living life the way you want it to be.
I am a travel addict, and for 24 hours a day, I am thinking about what to do next. I crave different cultures, I desire to meet people and to improve their lives with every move I make. With that being said, I often get asked one important question; What does it take to live my dream life? Well, the answer is that you have to want it. You may like the idea of going somewhere new and that is great, but if you are wanting to be a worldwide traveler you’ll have to know in your heart and your soul that you truly want it. You’ll have to want it like nothing you’ve ever wanted before. Then once your heart and soul is within your traveling dream, you’ve accomplished the first step.
Traveling is never the same for two people as everyone reacts differently to each little moment, and we all have different interests. A large step to starting that traveling career is finding what you need to enjoy your time. Each destination can be a wonderful experience, but only if you make it. So, find what you desire, it can be different cultures, history, art, or wildlife, the options are endless. You need to find what makes your heart skip a beat to become the person you desire to be. Once you’ve found that person, your dream of a perfect life is more in reach.
Although traveling is a magnificent experience and I wish for everyone to have the ability to travel somewhere at some point in their lives, it isn’t for everyone. Travelling is hard. Not only do you miss out on large events at home but you leave a piece of yourself in each place you visit. As like everything else in life, you have two options. The first is to risk it and see who you can become. And the second is to stay and live a mediocre life.
Nowadays, we believe bills, mortgages, and a steady job are more important than living life the way we want. Take a moment and think back to when you were ten years old, then tell yourself that your dream isn’t achievable or realistic. The reaction you get will tell you more than you’ll ever need to know and will give you that needed push.
Travelling will ultimately better your life, and can provide you with a new perspective about what life is like. Not only are you improving your own quality of life, you impact every person you speak to, so their lives are being changed as well. It is a never-ending circle of happiness and adventure. You can be part of that circle, just make sure your heart and mind are in the same understanding, and you’ve mastered the art of life, congratulations.
