Starbucks is bae and we all know it. I mean honestly, who couldn’t survive without their regular favourite Starbucks drink? Although Starbucks has a large menu of various delicious drinks, there are secret items that you can order that are not displayed on the menu. These drinks you needed to order like yesterday because they are the bomb. Seriously. Here are 7 off-menu items you need to try at Starbucks at least once.
- Cotton Candy Frapp
This is my all-time favourite off menu item at Starbucks. It is a regular vanilla bean frappuccino; however, they add raspberry syrup to it which gives it a delicious cotton candy flavour. I personally like to ask for an extra pump of the raspberry sauce for an extra cotton candy boost. Trust me ya’ll, this shit is delicious.
- Butterbeer Frapp
Any Harry Potter fans out there? This is the drink for you! This is just a vanilla bean frappuccino but ask for two pumps of caramel syrup and two pumps of toffee nut syrup. Finally, get the barista to sprinkle caramel sauce on top. Ta-da! Your favourite Harry Potter inspired drink, but in frapp form.
- Cookies and Cream Frapp
Is this your favourite ice cream flavour? If so, try this. All you need to do is order a double chocolate chip frapp with white mocha sauce instead of the regular kind.
- Peach Green Tea lemonade
This is my second favourite secret menu item at Starbucks, mostly because peach is my favourite flavour (I’m just a bellini type of girl). Anyway, just order it exactly the way it is written, “I would like a grande peach green tea lemonade.” However, I always ask for an extra pump of peach flavour.
- Purple Pink Drink
This is for people who want an awesome drink for an Instagram pic. Remember those disgusting unicorn frapps? Well these look just as cool, but you will actually be able to drink them without getting sick. Just ask for half of a purple drink and half of a pink drink, but make sure to tell the barista to add the pink over the ice slowly so that it creates the ombre effect.
- Spiced Apple Chai
Fall is approaching, so why not find a drink perfect for the season? Fall Apple Chai can be served either hot or iced. If the barista is not familiar, just explain that it is a chai infusion in apple juice. If you are getting this drink hot, ask for whip cream and caramel sauce on top. Yum!
- Red Velvet Frappuccino
Okay, if you like red velvet anything, then you need to try this drink! It is just half white chocolate mocha with half regular mocha frappuccino with two pumps of raspberry syrup. This drink is worth the dollars!
Starbucks has a huge list of items that are not displayed on the menu, but here are a few of my favourites that you are guaranteed to love! Sometimes we need to be a little risque and try things we wouldn’t normally. Go ahead and take the risk on any of these items because your taste buds will thank you.
