There is no denying that “Friends” has become one of the most iconic, legendary shows of our time. It paved the way for many sitcoms and turned into a pop culture phenomenon. The premise of the show wasn’t anything too spectacular (a group of friends hanging out and growing older), but the show had many hilarious moments.growth.
Because “Friends”was so iconic, many people watched the show weekly and continue to binge-watch the series during Saturday marathons or on Netflix. But even though the series just celebrated their 24th anniversary last week, there are still a lot of things “Friends” fans debate to this day.
Which Season Was The Best Season?
The series ran for 10 seasons, when it comes to which season was best, we have a lot to debate. The early seasons were funny, but the character development was kind of slow. Towards the end of the series, though, there were a lot of inconsistencies with the characters. Personally, I thought seasons 5-6 were the best because there was a good mixture of hilarity and character development.
Did Anyone Actually Like Joey and Rachel Together?

I know viewers like plot twists and all, but who in their right mind actually liked the idea of Joey and Rachel together? Since the show has ended, even the stars of the show admitted that they all hated this storyline and even complained to the writers because they thought it was that wrong. It was awkward, weird, and quite frankly too forced. In short, Joey and Rachel’s awkward romance was a horrible idea.
What Was The Most Iconic Quote?
“Favorite ‘Friends’ quote” ishis is always a tough choice for viewers to make because there are so many damn good ones. “Lobster,” “Pivot!,” “We were on a break!,” “SEVEN!,” “Could you be…?,” “OH. MY. GOD!, “ “Joey doesn’t share food!” and “how you doin’?” These are some of the best. How could you pick one that is better than the others? Choosing a favorite becomes especially difficult because you think of the context behind each quote and you start laughing about it all over again.
Who Made The Best Couple?

Was the cutest couple on “Friends” Ross and Rachel, Chandler and Monica, Monica and Richard, Phoebe and David, Chandler and Kathy, Ross and Emily, or one of the show’s many other couplings? The list could go on and on, but the point is, many many memorable, lovable couples came from this show. Who was the best? Who even knows?
Who Was Actually Meant For Phoebe?
We all know that Phoebe ended up with that cute musician, Mike, played by Paul Rudd. Still, most people can’t help but think that her ex-boyfriend, David, played by Hank Azaria, was a better fit. I personally feel like David would have been Phoebe’s better choice, but some argue otherwise because Mike was more like Phoebe’s friends.
Who Was The Best Friend?

Come to think of it, I don’t think there’s a general consensus here because each “friend” has quirks and desirable qualities. Quite frankly, I think Chandler is the best “friend” because he is loyal, funny, and more compassionate than the other characters. (They also had bigger quirks than he did!)
Were Ross and Rachel Really on a Break?
“We were on a break!” is arguably one of the most well-known lines from “Friends,” mainly because we all remember how intense this scene was and hear the tone of Ross’ voice over and over and over again. But, do you really think they were on a break, and it was acceptable for Ross to sleep with another woman? Or was it wrong because being on a break meant they weren’t allowed to see other people?
To this day, these seven “Friends” debates are super common for people to argue over, and their discussions always make me laugh. Regardless of how we feel about these hot topics, we all share a mutual love for Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe, and that opinion will never change.
