We’ve received the unfortunate and heartbreaking news that Riverdale and 90210 star Luke Perry passed away this morning at age 52. He suffered a massive stroke and never recovered.
People described Perry as kind and compassionate. He had a huge heart and served a father figure to the younger cast members of Riverdale.
They rushed Perry to the hospital on Wednesday after he suffered a stroke. Family and close friends surrounded him as he died.
Most notably recognized as Dylan McKay from the 90’s hit Beverly Hills, 90210, Perry made appearances on television shows and movies from the late 1980s until his untimely death.
Stars are sharing their condolences and heartache over Perry’s death across social media.
There’s a lot of uncertainty right now as to how this will impact the recently announced 90210 reboot, but it will potentially give another angle for producers to explore.
This is a tragic loss for television fans and his family. Our hearts go out to them as they go through this heartbreaking time.
