If you’re searching for a way to spread the pride this summer, look no further than American Eagle’s Pride Collection!
The collection includes almost a dozen tops and tanks, plus a variety of other clothing accessories. Featuring rainbows and positive messages, these items are wonderful additions to any member of the LGBTQ+ community or supportive allies. Items range from $16-50, making them super affordable ways to show off your pride just in time for Pride Month.
If this isn’t good enough, the news literally does get even better. American Eagle will donate 100% of the profits from these sales to the It Gets Better Project.
Founded in 2010, this non-profit is dedicated to supporting and empowering the LGBTQ+ community around the world. Today, over 60,000 people have shared their “it gets better” story. Also, the project has connected with major brands like American Eagle, Converse, Lexis, and more.
These fun and undeniably gay tops and accessories are just the latest in AE’s endeavor towards equality for all.
Aerie, their female undergarment label, made waves last year by featuring models with disabilities. Furthermore, the company used email blasts to help the March For Our Lives movement gain followers after the massacre at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. This May, they’ve partnered with Buddy Project to raise funds and awareness for mental illness. Now, they’re pushing for pride, too!
Brian Wenke, executive director of It Gets Better Project said, “Our partnership with American Eagle Outfitters for the #WeAllCan campaign is the perfect collaboration to ensure that LGBTQ youth know they have the potential to achieve great things and to make a tangible and positive difference in the world. And, it provides an opportunity for those who love the American Eagle Outfitters brand to wear their support of a more inclusive world!”
