Sure, you could Google all the local hangouts, or you can let the celestial gods be your compass. However, if you want something more concrete, here’s your guide to planning a first date, based on your zodiac sign.
Aries (March 21 – April 19)
Aries is a fire sign, so these folks love competition and fun. If you’re feeling adventurous, then try a little friendly competition in an escape room. Not up for solving clues before you’ve even had the first kiss? Opt for a local comedian.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
Taurus is an Earth sign, so they can be quite literally down to earth. Dates planned by a Taurus are bound to be thoughtful because they’re known for being practical and romantic. Taurus has quite the palette. So a trip to the latest dining hot spot or even a local food festival will get the sparks flying.
Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
Geminis are an air sign and encompass all that comes with it. They’re lighthearted, fun, and adaptable. These individuals are nearly always ready to have some fun. In other words, Geminis let you be a kid again. Their downside is their endless need to be entertained, so choose a theme park or a day trip to pique (and keep!) their interest.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
Cancers are a water sign and love anything close to the sea. They are quite the homebodies, so you won’t need to look much further for a first date. Whether it’s a home-cooked meal or even a walk by the local boardwalk (if you’re lucky enough to live near the coast).
Leo (July 32 – August 22)

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)
Pisces is a water sign that’s most at home near the ocean. Taking them to an aquarium or to dinner at a seaside inn are both great choices. Not near the ocean? Pisces has a love of the paranormal, so a local ghost tour can spook up a good night kiss.
