Men are typically the worst, and if you have found one that isn’t, clearly he’s one of the rare ones. While some can be total manipulators who do it behind your back, others tend to be a lot more forward with it — sometimes even in bed. However, us women may become blind to their cover-ups.
If a man is using you for sex, there are some painfully obvious signs that prove how big of a douche he really is.
1. He’ll never make you orgasm
He won’t even try to please you in bed, primarily because he’s selfish as hell. His pleasure is all he cares about. And when you try to push him to please you, he brushes it off and keeps urging you to do more.
2. There’s minimal foreplay
Sure, there might be kissing, and you’ll probably go down on him. Other than that, that’s about the extent of it. But you know, guys will always comment about how girls never let their cars warm up before driving in the winter, but won’t warm her up before he drives into her. Hilarious.
3. He expects you to always be in the mood whenever he sees you
It doesn’t matter if you vocalize how tired or frustrated you are, he’ll always try to wiggle his dick into your mouth.
4. He compares you to other women
Whether you turn down anal or express a distaste for something he wants to try in bed, he’ll usually follow up with, “my ex would do that,” or something along those lines. Well then, go back to her then.
5. He won’t look you in the eye when you have sex
He’ll probably be more focused on staring at your other assets because eye contact usually relates to intimacy — and God forbid he has that.
6. In fact, he’ll even avoid intimate positions so he can avoid any risk that something may be misinterpreted as something more
Except, chances are, him showing interest is probably already a misinterpretation. Oh, and he’ll always pick the positions in bed too; it’s never your choice.
7. He’ll come off as insulted when you ask to hang out when you’re on your period
It’s almost as he thinks, how dare she wants to see me when she knows we can’t have sex. And if this is a problem for him, remind him how he should be lucky it came at all.
8. He probably won’t wear a condom
He’ll use the excuse “but it feels better without one,” but doesn’t think about the damage it could cause you or your body. Even when you insist, he doesn’t respect your wishes enough.
9. He makes you feel like you aren’t doing enough.
You could be galavanting around in sexy lingerie or giving him the best sex of his life because he had a bad day. He’ll always find a way to make it seem like you aren’t doing enough for him and will push you to do it anyway.
10. He makes you feel bad about your body
You know, comments about your tummy or needing to hit the gym more. Or even comments about how hairy you are or how you could get a wax. Meanwhile, he probably didn’t even shower before seeing you.
11. When you’re done, it’s as though a flip switches and he’s incredibly distant
He’ll refuse to cuddle or will only do it to shut you up. He’s often silent while you ramble, and he tries to rush off. There’s no small talk, no breakfast, and really just no respect.
If you find yourself in one of these situations, do yourself a favor and leave his ass. He clearly doesn’t have enough respect for you and you shouldn’t have to put up with it. You deserve someone who will treasure you, pleasure you, and treat you like gold — not like a forgotten Trojan wrapper on the street.
