Today – June 8 – marks National Best Friend Day. Luckily, there is a ton of famous best friends we can celebrate and admire today while still appreciating our own best friends. I always believe it’s important to practice gratitude and be grateful for the ones that we have in our life – especially in quarantine. So what better way to be grateful than to celebrate National Best Friend Day. Personally, I texted my best friend today even though we are both still practicing social distancing and can’t see each other on this special holiday! There’s always a way to show your loved ones you care.
Whether you have a best friend in mind to text or you want to strive to have a strong and incredible friendship like these celebs do, here is the ultimate list of best friends that we can look at and say #friendshipgoals. We may not be able to have the glitz and glam of these famous celebrity duos but we can still be starstruck by their friendships.

This male duo has hosted the CNN New Year’s Eve special for many years now. Anderson Cooper is also a regular guest on Andy Cohen’s talk show called, Watch What Happens Live. They also recently appeared on an episode of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? together.
Tina Fey & Amy Poehler
Everyone loves a good comedian so how can we not love these two ladies! These women met on the set of Saturday Night Live where they were long-running cast members. Their friendship even goes farther, to hosting the Golden Globes together as well as co-starring in movies such as the 2015 movie, Sisters.
Nichole Richie & Paris Hilton
This pair is a throwback for those who watched The Simple Life that aired from 2003-2007. Nevertheless, their friendship is still a classic for anyone to look up to.
Sophie Turner & Maisie Williams
If you’re a fan of Game of Thrones, you’ll love this friendship. These two ladies met on the set of the HBO TV show as teenagers and they instantly developed a close bond. They remain best friends to this day even as the show has finished. For those who don’t know, Sophie Turner played Sansa Stark while Maisie Williams portrayed Arya Stark.
Ariana Grande & Lady Gaga
This new friendship is rather recent but it blossomed when these two put out their new single, Rain on Me. What’s more, this track just jumped to number one on the Billboard charts.
