8 Baby Shower Gift Ideas For Any Pregnant Mom

Is your mom, wife, or best friend pregnant, and you don’t know what to get her? I know the struggle of getting the perfect gift, whether it’s for an anniversary, birthday, or even a babyshower. So, I’m here to help you with these eight ideas for the new mom in your life.

1. Diapers

You can never go wrong with a box or two of diapers. Get two sizes — one for a newborn and the other one size bigger. After all, babies grow quickly.

Don’t worry if other people also get her diapers. Think about it: If three people get you diapers, you won’t have to worry about purchasing more for a long time. What’s more, when babies are born, they use diapers all day long.

2. Bibs & Burp Cloths

You will always need a bib or burp cloth. If you don’t have one handy, your shirt will unexpectedly become the baby’s burp cloth.

3. Clothes

From experience, I would get my pregnant mammas one or two newborn outfits. But the majority would be onesies, one-piece pajamas, and different mittens and booties. It is always good to buy a size bigger for babies. Next thing you know, the baby is already six months old!

4. Toys

You can never go wrong with baby toys, toddler toys, or any other type of toy. How do you entertain a baby when crying or just being a baby? Toys that make sounds are especially good at keeping a baby entertained.

5. Blankets

Too many blankets is never a bad thing. During hard and cold winters, the baby must be warm and cozy.

6. Baby Soap, Shampoo & Lotion

You can never have too much shampoo. Baby smell, once showered, is the best smell there is. That smell and the cuteness will keep baby fever alive. I know it does for me.

7. Baby Thermometer

Since they are young, babies and toddlers can get sick as their immune systems are not strong yet. So baby thermometers always come in handy.

8. Baby’s First Aid Kit

Babies, and especially toddlers, are always getting into accidents. Mommies always have to be prepared to cover those “boo-boos.”
