Think of the moments that made up the saddest day ever.
What happened? Was it something out of your control? Or was it something that arose from a decision?
For me, I can remember that terrible day clearly. I was stressed from all aspects of my life; work, school, and personal issues. At the time, I thought I’d never felt worse on other days of my life.
Now, think of the best day that has ever happened.
Do you want to relive those memories? In the moment, you know what made that day great and memorable. And you know what that amazing day taught you.
For me, those days were when I visited and traveled to different places around the city. These experiences opened my eyes; they allowed me to take a break from my day-to-day routine. I enjoyed a change in scenery and perspective.
As you can see, the cliche is true – life has its share of ups and downs. There are some good and memorable days and terrible days where you feel like a drag.
However, the best moments in life are yet to come.
There is so much more to experience in life, whether trips, work promotions, friendships, or relationships. You’ll meet more people over time, try out new activities with them, and discover a few places on your own. Of course, you can’t predict times like these. But eventually, they will happen as you gain more experience and go through different life stages.
Moreover, you’ll also learn more about yourself. You’ll learn about your likes and dislikes, as well as your preferences and tolerances towards others. While it sounds like an arduous journey, it’s an important aspect of life. You have to go through the journey to see where it leads you.
If you’re struggling, remember that better moments will come.
So hang in there and seek the support that you need. Keep in mind that these challenges shall pass. They’re not forever; a change will happen sooner or later.
And if you’re going through an unforgettable time, know that these times will not be your last. You can create more of these memories again, ones even more unforgettable than the first ones.
There’s so much more to experience in life, and you’ll be able to visualize that in the future. For now, take it one step at a time; such moments will happen.
