When I got married, personalizing our ceremony and reception was one of the top things on my mind. I wanted this event to celebrate our relationship, representing who we were and sharing a small portion of our lives with friends and family. Fortunately, there were so many ways we could inject our personalities and passions into the wedding!

1. Customized Welcome Drink
If you’re having a bar at your wedding, discussing a personalized drink to serve as guests walk in is a great way to share who you are. You can create a drink as a couple or choose two to represent each of you. Here are a few drink options that may fit in perfectly with your theme or personality:

5. Personalized Bouquet
You might wonder how you can get more personal than a bouquet with handpicked flowers, but I promise you can! It’s about more than just flowers here. You can add many accents to your bouquet, making it yours. Consider a bouquet with a gemstone handle or a ribbon decorated with personalized embellishments, including charms, embroidery, a monogram, or messages from loved ones!
6. A New Kind of Wedding Book
Most people ask their guests to sign a wedding book, wishing them good luck after marriage. This is one area where you have so many customization options. Some people have a photo book where they paste a polaroid they take as they walk in. Others have little wooden hearts where you write your well wishes that they later place in a custom-shaped vase. You may also ask your guests to participate in a communal painting, where their addition is a signature!
