Forget Florida Georgia Line, and their #1 album, they’re still bae but they’re married so, it’s time to move on. Forget Keith Urban and those racy music videos he’s making, *swoon* but out of our league. I bet your new obsession is your favorite country star is Sam Hunt. And if he’s not already, he will be by the end of this post.
There is absolutely no denying that Sam Hunt is the new hottest thing to come out of country music in the last two years. And here’s the things, there is no one thing that makes him irresistible, there are too many reasons. He’s an all-American guy who studied philosophy and economics in college, played football, and taught himself guitar as a hobby. Who would have thought someone so normal and relatable would skyrocket to superstar status in just a few short years? I ask myself everyday how someone could be so damn perfect, and I came up with 35 reasons why we love him so f*cking much.
- There is no one else in the industry like him.
- His hair is “on fleek”.
- He can rock a snapback.
- He is a musical genius.
- He is deep, like old tree root deep.
- He’s humble.
- He’s nice to everyone, even the paparazzi.
- His eye contact game is strong.
- His family is important.
- His style.
- Those muscles. *swoon*
- His accent.
- That smile doe.
- He thoroughly enjoys performing and giving a show of a lifetime.
- 6’4”.
- His crew is #squadgoals.
- He’s an incredible friend to those he holds close to his heart.
- He’s got a way with words.
- He can pull off singing a 90s chick song.

Before starting his solo career, he wrote songs for your other favorite country stars, like Keith Urban – “Cop Car”, Kenny Chesney – “Come Over”, and Billy Currington – “We Are Tonight”. Oh good…you’re back! That must mean you’re interested in knowing more. Well, aren’t we all my darling dears. Sam Hunt has hands down changed the way country music sounds today. When he first presented his song, “We Are Tonight,” he was told it would never make it on the radio because it wasn’t considered country and it didn’t sound the same as other songs that were out. How many number one hits has he written now, including “We Are Tonight”? I honestly don’t know…I’ve lost count and that is one hell of an accomplishment for such a beautiful human being.
So there, it’s done. We’re all officially in love with Sam Hunt. You’re welcome my little magical seahorses.
