There is this extraordinary thrill that comes along with dating and finding the one. Having a significant other can make all the bad days feel like they’re still good days. Even when you fight with this person there is still some sort of happiness. BUT, what about when your significant other leaves or you breakup? Who’s going to pick up all of those broken pieces?
YOUR GIRLS, THAT’S WHO.
Something I’m personally guilty of is forgetting the value of my girlfriends. And they are oh so valuable. Sometimes we forget that no matter how solid our relationships with our girlfriends are, they deserve some effort too. I’ve learned this the hard way. Thankfully, my girlfriends are angels sent from heaven who are there for me unconditionally.
Unlike the man who you thought would be there forever and love you endlessly, your girlfriends actually are those people. They deserve to have nights dedicated to them without the topic of dating or significant others brought up. This is because your girlfriends are the ones who will always be there for you at the end of the day.
NO MATTER WHAT.
We sometimes forget that intimate relationships can end and your girlfriends are the ones who are left to help put you back together. It’s so important to remember that nights with the girls should trump date nights. Our girlfriends deserve as much effort as we put into other relationships.
Men choose to come into your life, but leave when they feel like it. However, your girlfriends chose to come into your life, they chose to love you, and even though they can leave when things get rough, they choose NOT TO.
These are the bonds that are going to last you a lifetime. These are the people who are going to stick by your side through the bad and the amazing.
DO NOT TAKE THEM FOR GRANTED
Your girlfriends are the ones who see the best in you and can make you feel a million times better when you’re down. Who wouldn’t want to spend a night in with the people who don’t judge you?
Belching like a man, your worst ugly cry, and stuffing your face, are all things that are welcome in front of your girls. They’re the ones who don’t care if you act like a lady. They love you purely for who you are, even when you don’t love yourself. Don’t ever forget that these magnificent creatures are a priority.
Be honest here, girls nights are the nights that keep us sane. So do it for your sanity, never forget the value of your girlfriends.
