On Wednesday, September 27th, 2017 the world said goodbye to one of the most iconic men in Hollywood, Hugh Hefner. A lot is being discussed at this point as to what is going to happen to the fate of Playboy Enterprises and their other forms of media. Luckily for the late visionary, his son will be carrying on the family business (in his iconic silk PJ’s of course).
At just 26 years of age, Cooper Hefner will be taking over a massive role. Luckily for him, he’s been preparing for this role since birth and has already been acting as current Cheif Creative Officer for the past few years. Aside from being the youngest of Hef’s 4 kids, and younger than his most recent wife, there’s a lot more to learn about this handsome young man.
He’s REALLY Attractive.
When you think of Hugh Hefner you don’t think of a very attractive person. The man goes from Christian Gray to “I wanna snuggle you on a Sunday afternoon” in a matter of two seconds. I’m impressed!
He’s A Member Of The California Military Reserve
I love and respect a good man in uniform. And I commend him for his service. May he never take off his uniform again! He’s also not a fan of Trump, and any Trump-hater is a friend of mine!
He’s A Massive Fan Of Harry Potter
Could you imagine how awesome it would be to throw a Harry Potter themed party at the Playboy Mansion? Because I can’t.
He’s Engaged
Crushing, I know. His fiancée is Scarlett Byrne, who actually played Pansy Parkinson in the Harry Potter films! You know you’re a fan of the movie when you fall in love with someone from the movie…
All joking aside, he actually has big plans for evolving Playboy to make it modern. Although the magazine especially has a reputation for being a little classic and old school, he realizes that it needs to stay up with the times. I mean, the guy lived in the mansion until he was 18 and went to school, would spy on all the parties, and had insight as to what his dad wanted, yet knows how important it is to grow to reach new audiences.
The fate of the mansion itself is unknown, as it was sold in 2016 for $100 Million, but everything from licensing to nightclubs and TV programs are in Cooper’s hands. And if his promise he made in an interview recently stays true, we’ll be seeing a more realistic side of Playboy and their Playmates, full of nudity.
