My niece is without a doubt the best part of my life. I was in the room the day she was born, five years ago. She came into this world screaming and crying her little head off, and I stood in awe as soon as I saw her. I fell in love with her right then and there. I knew she’d look up to me as a role model. And I promised her I would always be there for her, and I will.
She deserves the whole world and more, and I can’t wait to be by her side watching her grow and helping to mold her into an amazing woman. Even though she is only five, she teaches me so much every time I am with her. Listening to her talk about her day at school, watching her write her name, hearing her sing along to songs in the car amazes me in every way.
Please do not ever doubt yourself.
You can do anything. You can achieve ANYTHING. And you can be whatever you want in this world. Do not let anyone ever tell you otherwise. Put your mind to it and make it happen. The only person that can stop you, is you!
Please remember how beautiful you are.
Do not for one second doubt your beauty and worth. As you grow up people will try to bring you down, don’t ever let them. You are amazing, beautiful and perfect just how you are. And I will always be here to remind you of that.
Please be kind towards others, but always stick up for yourself.
Treat people the way you want to be treated. Be kind, giving, and caring. But also remember not to take anyone’s crap. Always stick up for what you believe in, even if that means upsetting people. You have a voice, make sure you use it!
Please remember how loved you are.
You are the light to so many people’s life. And you make everyone around you laugh and smile. You are loved and cherished. You changed so many lives the day you were born. And to this day you continue to bring joy to all of us.
Thank you for teaching me so much already, and we still have the rest of your life to go! You are my favorite person in the world. And I will always make sure you know that. Thank you for bringing me so much happiness. Thank you for changing my life for the better.
Auntie will always be here for you, no matter what. I will always be in your corner, and I will always support you. I will always sneak you cookies and candy when you aren’t supposed to have any. And I will always protect you. I will always keep your secrets and I will always be your best friend.
